First Writing Experience

Writing is a challenge to be active in pouring the contents of ideas from our minds into writing that can be enjoyed by the wider community, because I as a prospective educator must develop myself to become a professional educator in the Digital Era.I am a student at a state university, English education study program. Ideally, students majoring in Language should be able to write stories or various scientific essays. It turns out that this hasn't happened to me. I am among students who don't read much, all I read are a few romance books. But over time, I felt embarrassed to see friends around me able to write stories neatly. Finally, I began to try to write. Actually for those who majored in language, writing should not be a stranger anymore. But not many students majoring in language including myself are aware of it. I realize, it is unfortunate if a productive young age is not poured ‘wild’ ideas in written form. It's hard to get started, it's really cliche. But no matter how difficult it is to start,for me there must be a first time. So, I will tell you about my first writing experience.

From senior high school, I see my friends have skills, some are singing, playing music, sports and so on. I often ask myself, "what skills do I have?" until finally when I am in college, I opened my Instagram and saw people who are good at writing caption that bewitched every eye. My heart opened to make writing as part of my skill .I also began to buy books as a first step to writing. The book i bought was 11:11 book by Fiersa Besari. Fiersa books contain many poems. I like the language of the story that seems to fit my situation. So the first type of writing I made was biography.

      It turns out that when I first wrote, I felt writing was not as difficult as most people say. But certainly, writing is not easy and not difficult. This means becoming a writer requires the experience of writing itself. There is no need to write a book right away as experience, I often try to write on my social media caption as a way of training myself to write. Before I write, I start to make a list first. I write word by word and choose the best word I have. After I finished, I tried reading it many times to make sure I was writing the correct word. I try to be perfect in my writing. That sometimes makes me delete my posts on social media.Even though we know, even great writers ever make bad writing when writing for the first time.

      To be honest, for me the writer is a profession of dreams. Because the writer arranges the story without anyone else ever thinking about it. So in writing it takes a long time and high commitment in completing it. I have felt that when writing for the first time. To think about topic sentence alone, I could spend 30 minutes or even more.Not to mention thinking about the right words and then revising it many times. For writers who are still amateurs like me, it takes a whole day to finish one story.

      My experience writing for the first time maybe it does look heroic, but what you need to know, thinking hard to fiddle around with words has a big influence on the heroics of this story. From some of the writing that I have written on my blog, maybe not much. However, at least I hope it can be a motivation and a trigger for readers of this paper to start writing. Suffice this long writing that I wrote at midnight until dawn. I do not expect anything, except hope the reader is motivated through my writing.
