Freeing Corruptors Amid Corona Outbreaks : Humanity or Opportunity?
Lately, the Indonesian people have not only been shaken by a corona outbreak, but also by a proposal made by the government that is the release of corruptors as a step to break the distribution chain of the corona. This was conveyed by Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly who proposed a revision of the Government Regulation (PP) No.99 of 2012 concerning the Requirements and Procedures for the Implementation of the Rights of Citizenship-Assisted Citizens. Certainly ,this has invited polemic in the eyes of the community. This is considered unreasonable and indicate that the government is taking the opportunity in narrowness.
